Google Keen is the latest experiment and rivalry of Pinterest.
This new social media by Google is a welcome back in Social Media which allows you to collect and share links, ideas, and resources.
This is an experimental project by Google’s Area 120 and named it a Keen. You can access this via web and Android app. It’s just like a Pinterest board where you have to make a “Keen” about the topic you like. It allows you to share the link, and photos with others, invite your friends to collaborate and follow the Keen. As it is an AI-Powered so Google uses its machine learning technique and suggests you related content.
CJ Adams the co-founder of Keen says in a blog post that Keen allows you to curate content you love, like to share your collection with your friends and others and find new content related to what you have shared.
Users have the choice to keep their Keen public or private, which gives them control to share or not share, or who can contribute.
Adams also said every Keen created on any topic, Google will use Search Index and Machine learning to suggest you related content.
We can also follow others Keen and discover new things and also you can opt for an email update to get alerts when new things added.
If you’re not an expert on a particular topic, you can start a keen and save things you like, it will start recommending you to become better.
Keen is not a place to spend endless hours browsing. Instead, it’s a place to grow your interest, share them with loved ones.
