Acapulca Season 2 Recap

The episode kicks off with a woman unlocking the gate of a gated establishment. Then, we’re taken back to when Esteban and Nora were preparing for their wedding. However, Maximo and Sara decided to go against their mother’s wishes and throw a grand wedding celebration in their honor.

Eventually, Don Pablo returns to the resort and meets Rodolfo, the popular singer. In a conversation with Diane, Hector expresses his desire for a demotion, which she grants. She refuses his request for another visit to her office. Don Pablo arrives at Maximo’s, where he’s seeking employment. His frustration is palpable as he tries to figure out his next steps.

Maximo suggests a collaboration with Diane in her office. However, as photographers enter the room, she feels the urge to throw something at him. Don Pablo advises listening to Maximo. Diane announces that Rodolfo is on board and agrees to a trial run with Maximo. Memo becomes worried when he realizes that his girlfriend’s letters are disappearing.

It turns out that his girlfriend’s mean-spirited niece is responsible. She explains that she wanted to stop Memo from dating her niece because she never approved. However, after reading her latest letter, Memo discovers that she can no longer communicate with him from afar. He realizes that she wasn’t being cruel; he was simply guarding his feelings from her.
